Q: I'm having issues or don't understand the online ordering process...please help!
A: ELK appreciates the advancements in technology; but, we understand the importance of talking directly with our clients. Please call (614) 846-8935 and ask for our Online Sales Representative to discuss products or to report a web site problem. You'll always talk with a LIVE person...EVERYTIME you call. Now that's real LIVE chat!
Q: I have my order total...is that exactly what my bill will be?
A: ELK has carefully chosen products that don't have complex design requirements. For that reason, most product quotes are billed exactly as indicated online (not including artwork and other applicable service fees.) ELK will always inform our clients of pricing descrepencies before placing your order into production.
FREIGHT ESTIMATES: Actual freight charges often vary + or - 5% depending on carrier, product packaging, and product types. ELK is not responsible for differences between online estimated freight quotes and actual freight costs.
Q: When do I submit my artwork?
A: There are two ways to submit your artwork. Our clients find it most convenient to e-mail directly to our art department (email@example.com) AFTER completing the online order. Be sure to include your online order # in the subject of your e-mail. Otherwise, you may upload your artwork following the "Upload File" on your order confirmation page.
Q: What is camera-ready artwork?
A: Camera-ready artwork is essentially high-resolution artwork that can be directly used in production. In most cases, if you have artwork in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or EPS (.eps) formats...your artwork is camera-ready. If a product features "four-color process", we can usually use .ai, .eps, .psd, OR high resolution .jpeg (600 dpi). Please call our Art Department with any questions (614) 846-8935.
ELK offers artwork creative and editing services upon request. ELK can recreate most artwork to camera ready. Artwork fees are billed at $35.00 per hour (billed in 1/2 increments). Typical editing time depends on the quality of original artwork. If your artwork needs adjustments, ELK will contact you prior to incurring any artwork charges.
